Through years’ basic and applied research as well as product development, it has formed the technologies and products of its own independent intellectual property right. Different-size products such as blade, coating products, vacuum ion plating and sputter/arc ion plating applicable to engines with different performances have won praises. It has obtained the “turbine blade heatproof & antiseptic coating production line” of national innovation fund for small technology-based firms and three projects of national 863 plan, including nanometer technology compound protection coating, heatproof & antiseptic coating, plasma display oxidation membrane coating, etc. some of them have been generalized to the practical production, exerting a good role. Starting at the beginning of 2005, the laser weapon project of national 863 plan commissioned by PLA General Armament Department, which is undertaken by the HYSEC in combination with Institute of Metal Research of Chinese Academy of Sciences and Central South University, is underway.

In order to speed up the development, the company strives towards a development road of multiple investments and multiple products. It has invested and held two subsidiaries. One is Changsha Yuanhang Polymer Materials Co., Ltd, specializing in the development and production of ultraviolet (infrared) photo-cured coating materials. The other is Hunan Environmental Technology Industrial Co., Ltd, specializing in the development, production and sale of water treatment and air treatment products, and undertaking the design and construction of water & air treatment engineering. Its main products include ozone equipment, vegetable disinfector, production equipment for purified water and mineral water. It undertakes the design and service of food freshness-maintenance project and has been approved as an environmental friendly high-tech enterprise by the Science & Technology Department of Hunan Province for Environment Protection.
